12 Days of Ditch & Switch: The Kitchen

Day 2: The Kitchen!

The kitchen is where everything happens! People always seem to congregate in the kitchen. Food gets prepared, kids play on the floor, and it matters what we use to clean those surfaces!

No one wants to eat off of toxin-covered dishes and counters!

Today, my must-haves are Thieves Cleaner, Thieves Dish Soap, and Thieves Hand Soap (we’ll talk more about this one on day 3)!

Thieves Household Cleaner is a concentrate and you just use 1 capful in each 16 ounce spray bottle! So while the whole bottle is $22, each spray bottle of cleaner turns out to be less than $1! This one bottle will last you forever and will clean EVERYTHING in your house! For today, let’s just talk about the ways to use it in the kitchen!

-Wipe down your kitchen counters, floors, and cabinets with your all-purpose spray.
-Use it as a rinse aid in your dish washer.
-Mix some diluted Thieves Cleaner with baking soda to create a “soft scrub” to deep clean your oven, sink, stove, and stainless steel!

Thieves Dish Soap has an amazing citrus scent and is awesome at cutting grease! Plus, this bottle will last you forever! It won’t give you suds and foaming bubbles (this takes some getting used to), but take a second to think about what it is in your current soap that makes those suds! SLS is the culprit and it is BAD STUFF! I challenge you to take a second to search for your current dish soap on ewg.org or your favorite app!
